We are a young, hardworking company with
a passion for quality and traditional stone masonry.

We enjoy our work, and that is reflected on our stone walls, fireplaces, chimneys and other projects. We recognize that this planet is a delicate place and we strive to "step as lightly as possible". We find much inspiration in the ancient art of dry stone walling which is the construction of stone walls without mortar - using friction and gravity and properly placed stones to create a great looking wall that will last a lifetime! Celtic Roots Masonry Inc. prefers to use natural stone with as little processing as possible. Sourcing the right stone for the right job off the side of the mountain or using reclaimed brick and stone.

At Celtic Roots Masonry Inc., we strive to have compassion for and support the less fortunate of this world wherever possible. In 2008, the entire crew went to Nicaragua to help in the build of an elementary school. We went down as volunteers for a grass root non-profit-organization called School Box, who is doing some fantastic humanitarian work in that country. Please check out their website at www.schoolbox.ca. Through our travels, we have had the opportunities to learn under master masons across Ireland, Scotland, and Spain. We have also participated in other volunteer builds: from West Africa to the Caribbean. This global experience helps us to design and build with creativity and style.
